Endangered humpback whale dies near Sur

Muscat: A humpback whale has died near the coast of the Wilayat of Sur in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. 

"The whale fell into a fishing net in Arabian Sea and died. The humpback whale is an endangered species," Oman News Agency said in a statement.
