Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has issued a clarification about the issue of fuel quality in some governorates of Oman.
"The ministry is currently following up with what is being circulated on social media platforms about the issue of quality of fuel in some governorates of the Sultanate," MoCIIP said in a statement.
The ministry took random samples of fuel from various petrol stations in different governorates of the Sultanate and conducted an octane number test, and assured its continuous efforts to follow up on the observations and complaints received in this regard.
