Oman participates in meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers Council

Cairo: Thirty joint Arab action issues were discussed at the 147th session of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council in which the Sultanate’s delegation was chaired by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs.
The 30 issues were related to political, economic and social fields, including the Palestinian cause, Syrian, Libyan, Yemeni and Iraqi crises, as well as the fight against terrorism, preparation of the agenda for the next Arab summit in Jordan, the Arab relations with regional groupings and the development and reform of the Arab League.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo.
Bilateral meeting
On the sidelines of the 147th session of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council yesterday with Samih Shoukry, Egyptian Foreign Minister.
The meeting reviewed the good relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them in various fields.
The meeting also discussed the latest developments of the current issues on the Arab arena and the most prominent issues to be included in the Arab summit, which will be hosted by Jordan this month.
