Muscat: Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority's (CDAA) teams rescued 36 people from wadis across Oman.
All these citizens and residents were stuck in wadis due to the rough weather Oman is witnessing.
"The authority has said all of them are in good health," a statement by Oman News Agency (ONA) said.
"According to Colonel Mubarak bin Salem Al Araimi, Director General of Operations and Training, CDAA, the authority’s operations centre has received 37 reports of people being trapped in wadis and homes flooded by rainwater," the statement added.
He added that CDAA teams in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate were searching for two missing citizens in Wadi Bu Qalaa and Wadi Bani Jaber in the Wilayat of Sur. The teams are aided by search dogs, drones, and other modern technology.
