Muscat: Seeb recorded three new COVID-19 deaths during the last 24 hours, the highest number of deaths reported in the country on Monday, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The Tarassud+ app, which provides daily updates on the COVID-19 situation in the country, reported that Muscat Governorate recorded six COVID-19 deaths. Three were in Wilayat Seeb while Wilayats Muscat, Muttrah and Bausher reported one death each.
Outside the Governorate of Muscat, the highest number of deaths were seen in North Al Batinah and North Al Sharqiyah Governorates, with both reporting two deaths each. South Al Batinah and Dakhiliyah Governorates recorded one death each.
The following Governorates recorded zero deaths, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Al Buraimi, Musandam, Dhofar and Al Dhahirah, bringing the total number of deaths during the last 24 hours to 12 in Oman.
