Agreement to equip Oman college labs signed

Muscat: An agreement has been signed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation with Oman LNG Company to equip mechanical engineering laboratories of a college in in North Al Batinah Governorate.

"Under the patronage of Her Excellency Dr Rahma Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Company sign an agreement to finance the project to equip mechanical engineering laboratories for the Saham Vocational College," the ministry said in an online statement.

The agreement is in line with the ministry's plan to develop vocational colleges to produce skilled professionals and technicians who meet the demands of the labour market, the statement added.
