Riyada organises graduation ceremony in Muscat

Muscat: Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, "Riyada" organised Tawasul session for the 4th batch 2017 of entrepreneurs, business mentors and specialists and the graduation ceremony of 14 distinguished graduates from the 3rd batch 2016 of entrepreneurs in the mentoring programme at Muscat Inter-Continental Hotel yesterday.
Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ''Riyada'' sponsored the celebration in the presence of members of the Board of Directors.
The ceremony included presentations that highlight ''Riyada'' services, a documentary that reviews the benefits of the mentoring programme to a number of entrepreneurs, as well as outreach activities that aim at enhancing communication between the participants of the programme of business mentors and specialists and entrepreneurs, and exchange of experiences and information among themselves and to promote team spirit in the
two batches.
The mentoring programme is among the annual programmes offered by ''Riyada''. It is a bilateral relationship between business mentor and entrepreneurs based on mutual trust aimed at encouraging Omani entrepreneurs and their organisations to achieve success. Mentors provide personal experience, knowledge, motivation and inspiration to entrepreneurs and their organisations in order to grow and achieve the desired results.
The programme aims to contribute to raising the level of Omani small and medium enterprises, inspire entrepreneurs with supportive work environment, and identify and achieve their business goals, as well as make them aware of the importance of non-financial support that contributes to the success of small and medium enterprises and inspires and promotes a culture of commercial volunteering in entrepreneurship in the Sultanate.
