Oman's hotels see rise in guests, dip in revenue

Muscat: Oman is witnessing an increase in hotel guests by over 7 per cent compared to last year.

According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information, 439,182 guests have been recorded in hotels with a rating of 3 to 5 stars until the end of May, showing an increase of 7.3 per cent for this period in 2020.

The total revenues of these hotels until the end of last May amounted to OMR 31,410 , a decrease of 44 per cent.
