Shura Council to host Minister of Higher Education

Muscat: Shura Council will host on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The Shura Secretary-General of the Shura Council will hold its 13th and 14th regular sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to June 29, 2021 and June 30, for the second annual session. The 13th session will be a plenary session, while the 14th session will be devoted to discussing the statement of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation."

 His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammad Al Nadabi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, indicates that the Council will host on Wednesday, Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, to deliver the ministry’s statement.

The statement will include six axes that discuss the policies of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, harmonisation policies between higher education specialisations and policies of institutional academic accreditation, and in their details, the ministry's strategies will be presented in light of Oman 2040 vision.
