Oman ministry launches accreditation system for engineers

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour signed a cooperation programme to launch the engineering professional accreditation system with the Omani Society of Engineers.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Labour said: "The Ministry signed a cooperation programme to launch the engineering professional accreditation system with the Omani Society of Engineers, which included three parts, regulating the practice of engineering work in the Sultanate, raising the rates of Omanisation in the engineering profession, and empowering the Omani engineer by developing their competitive capabilities."
