Unlicensed agricultural site used by expats raided in Oman

Muscat: A site has been raided by the Sohar Municipality for practicing unlicensed activity.

A statement issued online by the Municipality said: "Sohar Municipality, in coordination with the Public Prosecution, raided an unlicensed agricultural site used by expatriate workers to practice the profession of laundry and carpet washing, as the site lacked the minimum health requirements to practice the activity."

"The municipality warns consumers to use licensed laundry facilities to carry out the activity in accordance with the approved health requirements,” the statement added.
