A charitable foundation in the name of Honourable Lady announced in Oman

Muscat: A Foundation to support women, people with disabilities and people with limited income has been announced with a capital of OMR 1 million.

“The government communication announced the publicity of the ‘Ahad’ Foundation to support women, people with disabilities and people with limited income, with a capital of OMR 1 million in cash, that can be invested in any work that generates a profitable profit for the institution."

According to the statement, the institution was declared in accordance with the Law of Civil Associations issued by Royal Decree No. 14/2000 and Ministerial Resolution No. 106/2021.

The institution’s headquarter is in the Governorate of Muscat, and its services cover all the governorates of Oman. It is permissible to establish branches of the institution by a decision from the founder.

In addition to promoting the values of citizenship, identity, heritage, culture and patriotism, the foundation aims to provide and support social care initiatives and services for families and individuals, along with community empowerment initiatives, especially those related to women. It will also help people with disabilities and limited income, and civil associations interested in providing rehabilitation and social care services to families in need.
