Oman Airports gets approval to operate Fahud airport

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority has accorded approval for Oman Airports to handle operations at Fahud Airport after work on renovating the airport's runway is completed.

A statement by the authority said, "This (approval) came after field visits of the authority’s inspectors to determine the level of readiness of the runway and compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) requirements."
