Muscat: The Supreme Committee for dealing with COVID-19 has decided to allow people from neighbouring countries to move daily across the land borders to perform their work in Oman.

A statement issued online by Oman TV said :The Supreme Committee for Dealing with COVID-19 issues several decisions:
1. Allowing Omanis and residents of the Sultanate of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf working in neighbouring countries to move daily across the land borders to perform their work, with the need to present proof of their work from the employer
2. Allowing visitors to beaches, parks and public parks, with an emphasis on preventing gatherings of any kind in them, and adhering to all preventive measures and requirements
3. Allowing the practice of group sports activities in open spaces, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements
4. Allowing gyms to open at a 50% of capacity, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements
5. Allowing swimming pools, gyms and their facilities in hotel establishments for guests and holders of club memberships affiliated with those establishments only, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements
