Muscat: There are chances of dust storms in the desert and open areas, with a maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius expected today in different wilayats of Oman.
The Oman Meteorology said in a statement: “Weather forecast is generally clear in most of the governorates of the Sultanate with the possibility of clouds forming on the Hajar Mountains during the afternoon period, and opportunities for dust storms in the desert and open areas, and the possibility of low clouds or fog forming at the end of the night and early morning on the coasts of the Arabian Sea."
The minimum and maximum temperatures respectively in the Wilayat of Seeb are 33 degree Celsius and 42 degrees, in the Wilayat of Salalah 27 degrees and 32 degrees. The highest temperature expected today is 45 degrees in Al Amarat, Sohar, Suwaiq, Rustaq and Samail, and the lowest is 18 degrees in Jabal Shams.
