People arrested for vandalism in Sohar: Royal Oman Police

Muscat: A number of people have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for blocking roads, seizing transport vehicles, assaulting by-passers and proceeding to sabotage public and private property.

A statement issued online by ROP said :"The Royal Oman Police arrested a number of people for their involvement in blocking roads, seizing transport vehicles, assaulting passers-by, and proceeding to sabotage public and private property, including shops, and initiate theft and set fire to them. The necessary legal measures are being taken against them."
