Muscat: The governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah will witness cloudy weather with clear skies predicted over the rest of the Sultanate’s governorates during the the next two days, the Civil Aviation Authority, (CAA), said on Thursday.
A statement issued online by the CAA said that clouds were likely to form over Al Hajar Mountains in the afternoon. Some coastal areas will witness light to moderate intensity northeasterly winds which could change direction at night. Moderate to active southwesterly winds will blow over the coastal areas overlooking the Arabian Sea. The Arabian Sea coastline will have medium waves with a maximum height of two meters.
On Friday, partly cloudy has been forecast over the governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah, and generally clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate’s governorates, with the possibility of clouds forming on Al Hajar Mountains in the afternoon period.
For Saturday again, partly cloudy skies will prevail over the governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah and generally clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate’s governorates, with the possibility of clouds forming over the Al Hajar Mountains in the afternoon period.
