Muscat: Specialized teams have been formed to follow up the implementation of the programs and projects emerging from the Oman Vision 2040 in the various government ministries and units.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), Said: “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik holds a great interest in Oman Vision 2040. It is the national reference for the economic and social planning of the Sultanate during the time period 2021- 2040, from which the national sectoral strategies and five-year plans for development emerge.”
“The vision has launched its implementation since the beginning of this year in accordance with a set of national priorities, goals and local and international indicators, as the implementation Follow-up Unit monitors and supports the authorities concerned with the implementation through a working methodology approved by all concerned authorities” the statement continued.
“A number of the unit’s supervisors explained in a statement to the ONA that specialized teams have been formed to follow up the implementation of the programs and projects emerging from the vision in the various government ministries and units, and these teams are working in cooperation with the unit’s specialized work teams to follow up on the vision’s indicators” added the statement.
