Burst pipe prompts ration call from Oman water board

Muscat: Residents of Al Amerat are likely to face a shortage of water today following a burst in the wilayat’s main pipeline, according to the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW).

In a statement, PAEW said the water supply is expected to be affected for the next 24 hours.

“We call upon people to rationalise their consumption of water,” said PAEW.
