Muscat: The Chargé d'Affaires at the Sudanese embassy in the Sultanate has praised the historical relations between the two countries.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "Tijani Siddiq Al-Amin Sabir, Acting Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in the Sultanate confirmed that the relations between the two countries are long-rooted and deep in history for decades."
In a statement to ONA he expressed his admiration for the Oman Vision 2040. He pointed out that: "There are a number of Sudanese investors in the Sultanate in various fields such as import and export, meat trade, agriculture and other products."
He indicated that: "The Omani products present in the Sudaneses market are represented in the fields of oil and mining, the supply of agricultural machinery and technologies, as well as the exchange of experiences, capabilities and technologies. He explained that contacts are continuing between Omani and Sudanese investors to prepare a meeting between them to push the investment wheel into the interest of the two countries."
