Muscat: There are chances of thundershowers associated with fresh wind over Al-Hajar mountains, Oman Meteorology said in today's weather forecast.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate, with chances of isolated rain and thundershowers associated with fresh wind and hail over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar."
The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 36 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 34 degrees and 26 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 38 degrees and 26 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri , 37 degrees and 23 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 35 degrees and 23 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq. A fog and thundershower warning was also issued.
According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected on Tuesday is 38 degrees in the wilayats of Adam, Haima, Fahud, Al Buraimi, Sur, Ibra, Bahla and Ibri and the lowest is 12 degrees in Jabal Shams.
