Embassy of India to host VAT webinar for benefit of Indian community

Muscat: Embassy of India is organising a VAT webinar for the benefit of the Indian community in association with leading audit and advisory firm Crowe Oman.

The webinar is on Tuesday, April 13 from 3pm to 4.30pm. While it is widely understood that the value-added tax may not directly affect the common man in terms of their spending towards food items, medical expenses, education expenses etc, the webinar is also to focus on bringing awareness to the business community on the process of registration, identifying the gaps within their system to comply with the law and to avoid the consequences of non-compliances.
