OCCI, SQU sign cooperation agreement

Muscat : Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), represented by the College of Economics and Political Science signed a cooperation program within the framework of exchanging scientific and practical experiences in the field of knowledge transfer, scientific research and training.

His Excellency Eng. Ridha Bin Jumah Al Salih, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry said: “The signing of this agreement reflects the keenness of  Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University in various fields, whether in the academic or practical aspect.”

“The Chamber was keen to establish a corner of  Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the College of Economics and Political Science Library to benefit from books, references, scientific magazines and publications issued by the Chamber and to provide training programs for college graduates."

Dr. Al-Mukhtar Saif Al-Abri, Dean of the college of Economics and Political Science at the university said: "This agreement comes within the strategic plan of the university to build effective partnerships with the most prominent private and public sector institutions."
