Work on to reopen roads in rain affected areas of Dhofar

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology(MTCIT), represented by the General Directorate of Roads and Land Transport in Dhofar Governorate, is reopening roads affected by the weather condition in the governorate.

 Engineer Omar bin Ahmed Mufleh, Director of the Directorate’s Road Maintenance Department, told the Oman News Agency: "The technical work teams of the Directorate are currently working on paving and opening the affected dirt roads in the states of Al Mazyouna, Rakhyut and Thumrait as a result of their impact due to rain and the flow of valleys. In addition to some scattered effects on the asphalt roads in all wilayats which was subjected to rocks collapses."
