Muscat: The Sultanate’s Consulate in Australia has called on students to adhere to the precautionary measures for the second wave to limit the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Victoria, Australia.
The Australian state government of Victoria announced a transition to the second phase of precautionary measures from Monday. Among the most important precautionary measures for the second wave are the following:
1- Lifting of the daily curfew.
2. Allowing all members of the same house to exercise and play sports at the same time designated places located within a geographical range not exceeding 5 km from their residence.
3- Wearing a mask when leaving the house is mandatory in all cities in the state of Victoria.
4- Allowing members of the same family to shop together in shops that are located within a geographical area not exceeding 5 km from their residence.
The Consulate General appealed to the students on scholarship in the state of Victoria to adhere to the precautionary measures imposed by the Victorian state government.
