Alawi receives US Secretary of State John Kerry in Oman

Muscat: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs received at the general diwan of the Foreign Ministry Yesterday John Kerry, US Secretary of State.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and the current regional and international situations, as well as the Sultanate's peaceful and humanitarian role in the Yemeni issue. The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs and a number of officials.
