300 school buses to be equipped with tracking system

About 300 school buses will be equipped with a tracking system to ensure the safety of students, the Directorate General of Education in South Al Sharqiyah has announced.

The safety and security system will cover 76 schools in the Governorate where three devices will be installed on each bus.

The project is funded by the Oman LNG Development Corporation to ensure the safety of our students and coincide with the celebration of the annual day of the company.

"The project contributes to making students' daily attendance to school safe, and reflects the company's keenness to develop community projects as a part of it is social responsibility."
