According to a family member of one of the patients, they are all grateful to be safe. “Alhamdulillah, thanks to Oman and thanks to the Sultan Qaboos for bringing us. The plane arrived around 11am or 12pm yesterday (Saturday) and we arrived in Oman at 8pm.”

“Thanks to Oman and thanks to Sultan Qaboos for bringing us here.”
Oman has sent an aircraft to the Yemen’s capital Sanaa to help evacuate these people, who were critically injured after an air strike last weekend.
The strike on a funeral, which was reported to have killed more than 140 people and wounded at least 525, had caused an international uproar due to which the coalition has allowed those who are seriously injured to be treated abroad.
