Muscat: Sudeep Chavan scored the first century of the season as Muscat CT trounced Sinha CT In the Muscat Pharmacy sponsored Premier Division match at the Al Amerat ground.
Batting first, Muscat CT scored a record 375 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs, thanks to a swashbucling knock by Sudeep, whose 164 runs in 141 balls was studded with 10 boundaries and four mighty sixes.
As Sudeep made merry Vaibhav (83) and Jatinder Singh (77 not out) also joined the run feast.
In reply, Sinha could manage only 150 runs in 42.2 overs with Mayura Prasad Silva scoring 52 runs.

OUA Travels win
In a Khimji Ramdas sponsored A Division match OUA travels secured an easy win against OCT Muscat, who were put into bat by OUA. ShoaibIsmail scored a quick fire 43 (38 balls, 6 fours, 1 six) as OCT Muscat folded up for 158 in 30.3 overs.
OUA, helped by Atif Raza (53) achieved victory in 34.2 overs losing five wickets in the process.

In the Al Ansari Group of Companies sponsored B Division match played at the Municipality 1 ground, Zawawi Powertech beat Sarco by 35 runs.
Zawawi Powertech, batting first, put on 222 for 6 in 30 overs with Manikandan (51) top scoring and Karthikeyan contributing 47. Pradeep of Sarco claimed three wickets.
In reply, Sarco could manage only 187 runs in their allotted 30 overs. Akshath scored 73 runs as Younis Murad was the pick of the Zawawi bowlers with figures of 3 for 41 in 6 overs

In another B Division match at the Municipality 2 ground, FAP UTSC trounced PDO. FAP UTSC put on 232 for 6 in 30 overs with Shameer scoring 68 runs and Faleel 42 runs.
Azar Habib’s brilliant knock of 86 runs in only 66 balls could not help PDO chase the target could not the chase target.

In a C Division match sponsored by Raha Poly Products, Landscape beat Attic Outdoors by 45 runs.
Landscape batting first scored 200 runs in 20 overs. Prasad Peruli celebrated his ton (115 runs) in just 64 balls.
Attic in reply could manage only 155 runs in 19.3 overs. Top scorer for Attic Outdoors was Qassim Ali, who scored 57 runs in 39 deliveries. Krunal of Landscape claimed three wickets.

In the Enhance sponsored D Division match, New Prism International scored 176 runs in 20 overs loosing 6 wickets. Shankar Gayathri scored brilliant 85 runs with 14 fours. Asim Abdul Kader of Mott Mac claimed four wickets.
Mott Mac could not chase the target and could manage only 160 runs in their allotted 20 overs losing 3 wickets. Tawsif Tambe remained not out on 65.
