Omani rescues wounded eagle

Muscat: A citizen rescued a wounded eagle and delivered it to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs.

The ministry said in a statement online: "Thank you to Hamad Al Barumi from the Wilayat of Izki for his cooperation in handing over an eagle which he found in a critical condition.

"The bird was transferred directly to the Ministry's wildlife rehabilitation and propagation centre in the Wilayat of Barka to receive care and treatment."
