Ooredoo passes ISO 9001 surveillance audit

Muscat: Ensuring continuous improvement for excellence, Ooredoo has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Surveillance Annual Audit conducted by external auditors, Bureau Veritas. ISO 9001 are a globally recognised symbol of an organisation’s ongoing commitment to quality, sustainability and reliability.
During the latest audit, a thorough review of Ooredoo’s business processes was undertaken. The company demonstrated its ability to consistently improve network availability and enhance customer experience through compliance and digitalisation. Efficiency increased by up to 31 per cent in different operational processes.

Ooredoo is the first telecoms operator in the Sultanate to achieve and maintain the standard’s latest version of 9001:2015. Two surveillance audits were held, one at the end of 2017 and one at the end of 2018. The purpose of the surveillance audits is to check that the organisation is still adhering to the standard requirements of the ISO certification.
