Pakistan reopens airspace with restrictions

KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Friday announced to resume flight operations "partially" from Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta airports, which were suspended since Wednesday after Pakistan decided to close airspace amid tensions with India. The operations will be resumed under "restricted airspace".

In a statement issued online, CAA said: "Flight operation to and from Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi will resume under restricted airspace,"

The CAA has also instructed passengers to contact their airlines for further details and information.
