NAB arrests Sindh Assembly speaker Agha Siraj Durrani

Muscat: Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Islamabad on charges of possessing assets beyond his means, according to the state-owned Radio Pakistan.

After his arrest, he was taken to the NAB office in Rawalpindi.

Durrani, a leader within the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), is regarded as a close ally of former President Asif Ali Zardari.
