Indian School Muscat students to visit Germany under exchange programme

Muscat: Twelve students and two teachers from Indian School Muscat (ISM) are all set to travel for attending a German exchange programme.
The exchange programme between ISM and Gymnasium im Stift Neuzelle, Germany, for the year 2016-2017 will span over a period of 12 days starting from June 17.
Language skills
ISM Principal, Srinivas K. Naidu said, “The aim of the programme is to facilitate students to achieve a better understanding of other cultures, communities and languages.
It is focused on home-stays, language skills, community service and cultural activities. It also strengthens the bond of friendship between the two schools.”
The students taking part in the programme are Rahul, Anil, Jeet Palicha, Andrew Prince, Aravind Venkatraman, Akshat Bhatnagar, Pratyush Sivakumar, Dynel Lewis, Santhosh Chandrasekar, Hriditaa Dekate, Aishwarya Suresh, Hiranshi Mistry and Manasvini Sharma, who will be accompanied by teachers Jino Varghese and Sherida Agnes De Souza.
The school management, principal, Vice Principal of the Senior Section, Deep Wilson, and the staff extended their good wishes to the team for a fruitful and an enriching experience.
