Fahd takes part in GCC Summit

Jeddah: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers took part in the 16th Consultative Summit of the GCC Leaders, in Jeddah yesterday.
The summit was also attended by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Mas’oud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Legal Affairs.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) hosted a luncheon in honour of the GCC leaders and their highnesses taking part in the meeting.
The luncheon was attended by Sayyid Fahd and other dignitaries. Earlier, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, in Jeddah yesterday.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the KSA led the welcoming party for Sayyid Fahd upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.
Sayyid Fahd was also received by Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Advisor to the KSA King, Governor of Makkah Province, Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, GCC Secretary General, Dr. Essam bin Sa’ad bin Said, State Minister, Member of the Council of Ministers, Head of the Mission of Honour accompanying Sayyid Fahd, princes and ministers.
Sayyid Fahd is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Mas’oud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Legal Affairs, as well as some government officials.
