​New hospital built in Dhofar

Muscat: The Ministry of Health is set to launch a new hospital named Shaleem Hospital in the governorate of Dhofar.
Funded by PDO, the hospital has cost over OMR 1 million, announced the officials from the Ministry of Health.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said, “The ministry, represented by the General Directorate of Health Services in the Dhofar Governorate, will celebrate the opening of Shaleem Hospital, which was funded by PDO, with a total cost of about OMR1.238 million.”
Shaleem Hospital includes an outpatient clinic, an accident and emergency unit and 14 beds for men, women, and children. The hospital also includes a radiology department, a laboratory section, a pharmacy department, and other administrative services for nursing services as well as public service facilities.
The opening ceremony will be under the patronage of Dr Darwish bin Saif Al Maharbi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
