Oman tourism: Muriya introduces floating water park

Muscat: An inflatable Wibit water park has been opened at Muriya Jebel Sifah, according to a statement from the company.
Operated by Marassi Al Jissah, a company that specialises in yachting, water sports activities and sea excursions, the water park is located on Jebel Sifah Marina and offers a safe, fully supervised and enjoyable experience to residents, Sifawy Boutique Hotel guests, day-trippers and group visitors. Open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm, weather permitting, it can welcome up to 80 thrill-seekers at a time.
The park offers a choice of exhilarating slides and swings, super-springy trampolines, high and low jumps, plus a climbing tower, bouncy bridge, slippery balance beam and monkey bar – all designed to create a torrent of unforgettable experiences
“The latest attraction to join the Jebel Sifah destination boasts an array of exciting rides and adventurous activities that promise to test the athletic potential of everyone from the young novice swimmer to the accomplished adult athlete,” the statement says.
Jebel Sifah, located 20 minutes from Bandar Khayran, is spread over 6.2 million sqm and is designed to include six world-class hotels, of which the Sifawy Boutique Hotel is operational.
It also houses freehold residences, an 84-berth marina, marina town, complete with cafes, restaurants and nightlife, while construction on the 18-hole PGA Harradine signature golf course is underway.
