Royal Oman Police arrests 2 for committing robbery

Muscat: Two suspects have been arrested for robbery, according to an announcement by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

In the first case, the accused was arrested after he stole mobile phones from a home.

“Police command in Muscat has arrested one person after he had stolen a cash amount as well as two mobile phones from a residence,” read a statement from the ROP.

In the second case, an expat was accused of stealing construction material from a house that was being built.

“Muscat police station has captured a person an expat who was accused of stealing a group of electrical cables from a house that was under construction,” the statement added.
