ROP arrests expat for robbery

Muscat: An expat was arrested for robbing OMR7000 from another individual in the Al Sharqiyah Governorate, Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said.

A statement by the ROP read: "Police command in North Al Sharqiyah has arrested an expat for robbing OMR7000 from another individual."

"The police was able to return the amount confiscated from the robber to its owner," the statement added.
