Rains predicted in these parts of Oman

Muscat: Weather reports predict chances of rain over the Al Hajar mountains and its surrounding Wilayahs, the Public Authority for CIvil Aviation (PACA) has announced.

According to Oman Meteorology, the weather report for today is, “Partly cloudy skies on the coast of Dhofar and its surrounding mountains with light rains, while skies will be clear over the rest of the governorates. There are chances of clouds and sporadic rainfall on Al Hajar Mpountains and its surrounding Wilayahs.”

The temperatures in the Sultanate will vary from highs of 43 degrees in Muscat, to 31 degrees in Salalah and 48 degrees in Ibri.

The lowest temperature is predicted to be in Jabal Shams with 18 degrees, while lows in Muscat and Salalah will be 34 and 28 respectively.
