150 houses distributed to citizens in Duqm

Muscat: At a cost of nearly OMR 22 million, the Ministry of Housing has distributed 150 housing estates to citizens in Duqm.

The project was developed to assist the citizens who were affected by the ongoing development projects in Wilayat Duqm.

According to the Ministry: "The project consist of 150 two-story houses. The area of construction of each villa is 450 m2, on a residential land with a total area of 600 m2.

"The buildings are designed to accommodate 7 members per household and the population is expected to reach 1050 inhabitants."

The project also includes a mosque, modern lit road network, and fibre optics.
