Rains forecast for northern parts of Oman

Muscat: Musandam Governorate witnessed rain this morning, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced.

The Governorates of Muscat, Al Batinah and Al Sharqiyah also could see rain, and occasional thundershowers with strong winds and hail, PACA said in a weather forecast for today.

In a statement online, PACA said, "The flow and spread of rain clouds on the coasts of Musandam Governorate led to isolated rain and low clouds, and also spread over the governorates of North and South Al Sharqiyah and parts of Al Dakhiliyah and South Batinah.”
