No tsunami risk in Oman: PACA

Muscat: The Sultanate will remain unaffected by tsunami waves following an earthquake in the Arabian Sea, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced on Monday.

In a statement, Oman's meteorology department said: "No potential tsunami due to an earthquake in the Owen Fault Zone in the Arabian Sea at 19:04 MCT with magnitude 5.1 and depth 16 km.”
