New taxi waiting lounge opened in Sohar

Citizens and residents who are waiting for taxis in Sohar can now do so in the comfort of a newly-opened air-conditioned taxi lounge.
Sohar Municipality has begun operating its taxi waiting lounge which is located near Sohar Bridge.
The lounge is equipped with an air-conditioned room with surveillance cameras and restrooms and is considered to be the first of its kind in Oman.
The lounge will be able to hold nearly 80 people at a time.
