Over 2,000 bundles of khat seized in Oman

Muscat: More than 2,200 bundles of khat were recovered in the wilayat of Mirbat, Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said.
Authorities caught the accused with khat on a boat near the Mirbat beach.
A statement by ROP said, "The Directorate for Combating Narcotics in Dhofar, aided by the Coat Guards, recovered more than 2,200 bundles of Khat on the boat near Mirbat beaches."
