Two Omani citizens were rescued and their boats received assistance by Oman’s Coast Guard, the Royal Oman Police revealed.
In the statement, officials said that the boats stopped working after one of their engines failed and the other ran out of fuel.
"Coast guard police assisted one boat with a citizen on board in Khamzar area in the Wilayat of Khasab and another boat in the Wilayat of Dibba with another citizen. [The boats stopped working] due to engine failure and running out of fuel.” – Royal Oman Police
The boats were subsequently towed to the nearest ports.
