Futaisi to represent Oman at WCMH

Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications left here yesterday for the Republic of Singapore to represent the Sultanate in the 1st World Congress on Maritime Heritage (WCMH), scheduled to be held during 13 to 15 March 2019.
First time
The congress, which is held for the first time, aims at highlighting the importance of world maritime heritage and maritime routes, as well as the world endeavours to promote cooperation among countries to ensure sustainable future for better understanding the joint maritime heritage.
