5 kg of marijuana, 300 packets of khat seized

A total 300 packets of khat and five kilograms of marijuana were seized in Salalah by the Royal Oman Police.
"The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, led by Dhofar Governorate Police, in cooperation with patrol teams of the Special Tasks Unit of Salalah, managed to arrest two people and seize 300 packs of khat.”Royal Oman Police
In another case, the same directorate police were able to arrest three people for peddling drugs.
Five kilograms of marijuana was seized from the accused.
