Anti-mosquito campaign kicks off in Muttrah

Muscat: The Muscat-wide campaign to eliminate the dengue fever causing aedes aegypti mosquito has begun its work in Wilayat Muttrah.
The Ministry of Health and the Muscat Municipality is calling on all citizens and residents to help eradicate the breeding areas of the aedes aegypti mosquito and to cooperate with field teams involved in the campaign.
Authorities are also asking citizens and residents to seek information from reputable sources and to ignore rumors. All queries can be directed to the Ministry of Health Contact Centre and the Muscat Municipality Contact Centre.
