Eng. Abdullah bin Hilal Al Hadabi, Advisor to the Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources for Technical Affairs, said, “The Ministry [is playing a big] role in encouraging investment and in stimulating the private sector and businessmen towards pushing the wheels of development, as well as upgrading the level of municipal and water services. This is being done in line with the strategy pursued by the ministry to achieve community participation.”
He added, “The ministry is keen to stimulate investors to submit ideas and new investment projects that contribute to the upgrading of services, in addition to supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and strengthening the national economy.”
Al Hadabi also explained that the Ministry pays special attention to the adoption of more flexible methods to facilitate procedures for investments and investors from the private sector and to overcome any difficulties faced by those wishing to invest in these lands.
